Product Description
The cashless POS starter for professional washing machines and dryers allows a professional machine to start automatically after electronic payment, without using coins or cash.
Unlike a timed controller, this system does not manage the duration of the washing or drying cycle. Once the payment is completed, the device closes a dry N.O. contact (normally open) that sends the START command to the connected machine, simulating the activation of the machine’s external start input.
It is suitable for self-service laundries, campsites, residences, B&Bs, hospitality facilities and shared laundry areas equipped with professional washers or dryers designed to accept an external START signal.
The system allows the machine to retain full control of its own washing or drying program.
How it works
Operation is simple:
- the customer selects the service;
- makes the payment using the contactless POS terminal;
- once the payment is approved, the device closes the dry N.O. contact;
- the START signal is sent to the connected machine;
- the washing machine or dryer starts its programmed cycle;
- the machine independently manages the complete washing or drying cycle.
The device therefore acts only as a payment-controlled START command and does not interrupt or modify the machine cycle.
Example of use
The operator sets the price of a washing cycle at €4.00.
The customer pays by contactless card or smartphone.
Once the payment is approved, the system sends the START impulse through the dry contact and the professional washing machine begins its normal program.
The same system can be used with a professional dryer or other compatible equipment equipped with a remote START input.

Compatibility
This device must only be connected to machines equipped with an external START input compatible with a dry N.O. contact.

Safety and installation

The device does not directly transmit transaction data electronically to the Italian Revenue Agency.
Any tax obligations related to collected payments must be managed by the operator according to applicable regulations and using the appropriate fiscal tools for their activity.
