Coin Operated Timer for Domestic Washing Machine – Time Control
Install this electronic coin operated timer on your washing machine in a B&B, guesthouse, holiday home or any hospitality facility and turn your laundry service into an organized, controlled and paid service. Guests pay only for the time of use, while you keep energy consumption and washing machine wear under control.
How it works and how to use it
The coin timer enables the power supply to the washing machine for the amount of time you have set:
- The guest inserts coins into the coin timer unit.
- The washing machine powers on and remains supplied for the purchased time.
- When the time expires, the power supply is automatically cut off.
To make it easier for guests, it is recommended to place a small chart near the washing machine showingthe correspondence between program / time / price, for example:
– Programs up to 90 minutes → € 3.50
– Programs up to 2 hours → € 4
Compatibility
- ✅ Suitable for all domestic washing machines (old or new) with a power rating up to 1900W (1.9 kW).
- ❌ Not suitable for wash–dryers or tumble dryers, even with lower power.

Practical use: the guest inserts the coins, the coin unit powers the socket of the washing machinefor the preset time; once the time has elapsed, the power supply is cut and the cycle cannot continue beyondthe purchased time, ensuring responsible use of the machine.

⚠️ Warnings and installation
- The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.
- Carefully read the instruction manual before use.
- Some domestic washing machines specify in their manual that they must not be used with external controls or timers.
The coin operated timer does not modify the internal electronics of the washing machine:it only switches the power supply on and off.
