To ensure orderly and responsible use of your appliances, this coin-operated unit allows you to activate only one machine at a time using a mechanical selector and coin payment.

How it works

1. The customer selects the machine (washing machine or dryer) using the 2-position mechanical selector.
2. They insert the required amount into the multi-coin acceptor (e.g. €2).
3. The selected machine is activated for the preset time (e.g. €2 = 1 hour).
4. Once the time expires, the customer may select the other machine and repeat the process.

The system ensures alternated and controlled operation, preventing overloads and optimising energy consumption.

• Pressed sheet-metal structure painted in grey RAL 7035.
• Removable coin box with safety lockable door.
• Multi-coin acceptor: accepts coins from €0.10 to €2; optional custom tokens.
• LED display showing credit and remaining time.
• Programmable timed output: from 1 second to 99 hours.
• Maximum power per machine: 3500W.
• External terminal block for connecting both appliances.
• 2-position mechanical selector to choose which machine to activate.
• Default settings: €0.50 / 15 minutes (→ €2 = 1 hour).

Installation and wiring

The coin-operated timer is supplied ready to use:

• Wall mounting with included anchors.
• Connect appliance cables to the internal terminal block.
• Power supply via 16A socket.
• Time/price parameters can be easily adjusted following the instructions.

⚠️ Electrical installation must be carried out only by a qualified technician.

Installation and electrical safety warnings

• The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect or non-compliant installation.
• The appliance power line must be protected by a double-pole circuit breaker.
• Upstream, the following must be installed:
• Double-pole magnetothermal breaker
• Residual current device (RCD) sized according to the electrical load
• A proper earth/ground connection must be present along the entire line.
• The timer must be installed between the double-pole breaker and the appliance.
• During maintenance, always disconnect the double-pole breaker or the main switch.
• The timer does not replace the main switch: it functions as a timed activation system.
• It does not modify internal wiring nor the appliance electronics.

Compatibility with appliances

⚠️ Warning: some domestic appliances specify in their manuals that external timers or control systems are not permitted.

• The timer does not alter the internal electronics; it only switches the power on/off.
• Use is at the customer’s discretion.
• In case of doubt, it is recommended to use professional appliances designed for external control.
